Operation Harvest is an annual event put together by local Rotary clubs to assist needy families during a time of year that can be especially difficult. Families and businesses throughout our valley make financial donations, as well as donating over 65,000 pounds of food. Zirkle Fruit is very proud to participate in this much needed “Food Fundraiser”. We set up bins throughout our facilities and gather enough food to fill not one, but two trucks. This is another wonderful way our company and our employees give back. As a company, we believe the best way to strengthen our community is by producing excellence. This philosophy is evidenced by the efforts of our family of employees–our people–and their dedication to their positions within the company, as well as their participation in worthwhile programs throughout the communities in which we grow our fruit. Our people do an amazing job of giving back by volunteering countless hours supporting initiatives which promote wellness and education for children, as well as programs that help individuals and families when they need it the most.
