By prioritizing decarbonization and integrating it into our daily operations and strategies, we are protecting our business from the most severe adverse effects of climate change. We make these commitments to benefit the environment, our guests and employees, and the communities we serve. Our goals and strategy are aligned with the recommendations made by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for limiting global warming to below 1.5 degrees Celsius, as referenced in the 2015 Paris Climate Accord.
