The Board provides strategic oversight and guidance on Wing Tai’s sustainability efforts, including the selection of priority material factors for Wing Tai Holdings. With increased stakeholders’ awareness on sustainability disclosures and greater investor emphasis on ESG issues the Board understands that a sound sustainability framework is important to our success and remains committed to navigating the evolving sustainability landscape to deliver long-term value and growth to our stakeholders. Keenly aware of the developments in SGX regulations on sustainability and the importance of having a good grasp on sustainability issues, the Board targets to have its directors complete the mandatory sustainability training by 2022. To reduce energy consumption, the Group integrates eco-friendly fittings and features, and implements sustainable strategies and best practices across its developments in Singapore and Malaysia. In Singapore, our contractors are also guided by BCA’s Green and Gracious Builder Scheme which certifies environmentally conscious construction companies.
