As Florida’s Gulf Coast along Manatee County continues to be impacted by red tide, Waste Pro is teaming up with Solutions To Avoid A Red Tide (START). Public concerns regarding waste typically focus on its growing quantities and landfill accumulation; but one element of waste management that often goes unnoticed, yet has significant impacts on health and the environment, is the vast number of garbage trucks used to process this waste. Efficiency is a key dimension of renewable energy, and Waste Pro currently uses the most competitive renewable energy on the market – solar power.
