2020 has been a disruptive year for many people – personally and professionally. It’s at times like these where the way we do business – “Secure-Appreciate-Respect” – differentiates us as a company and as an employer. Here are a few things we’re doing at Utica National that may interest you as a prospective employee: We’re Working. Like so many other companies, most of our team members have worked remotely since late March. But that hasn’t slowed the pace of our business – from bringing in new business, to leveraging technology and providing excellent service and support to our current customers. We’re Hiring. We have welcomed in new employees consistently throughout the COVID period, and continue to have a significant number of jobs open across disciplines and geographies. We just wrapped up a successful summer internship program, and seek new applicants at all experience levels. We’re Engaging. We’ve always been proud of our culture at Utica National – it’s an important part of what makes us a great company to do business with and a great place to work. Extending that sense of belonging to our remote workspaces has been a vital part of our transition. We created an information hub to share the latest developments and updates, expanded the use of video to make our connections more personal and interactive, added a variety of fun contests on our internal social media site, and continue to welcome and embrace new members of our team remotely.
