At TJX, our corporate responsibility efforts are anchored by our company’s mission to deliver great value to our customers every day. For 45 years that mission has remained steadfast, and so has our commitment to acting as a respon- sible corporate citizen. Our Global Corporate Responsibility Executive Steering Committee reviews and considers our corporate responsibility efforts from a cross-functional and cross-divisional perspective. In doing so, the Committee, among other things, guides corporate responsibility strategies to align them with TJX business priorities, supports our global corporate responsibility efforts across functions and geogra- phies, facilitates corporate responsibility information exchange, recommends additional program efforts, and, through the Committee’s executive sponsor, periodically reports on our progress to the Compa- ny’s senior management and Board of Directors. The committee is led by a Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP), Group President, who, among his other duties, provides management oversight of TJX’s envi- ronmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. We think of our global corporate responsibility program as ever evolving, and we are pleased to present our continued progress here.
