We provided world-class care to thousands of COVID-19 patients and continue to do so with the help of our colleagues across the region to improve health outcomes for these patients. Building on our experience and lessons learned, we opened the Global Emerging Diseases Institute and we would not have been able to do it without the philanthropic support of our TGH Foundation donors. Because of you, we have been able to accomplish so much for our organization. This year, we look forward to building upon our commitment to serving and caring for our community through world-class accessible care, cutting- edge research, treatment and innovation. Throughout the pandemic, TGH donors have asked how they could help healthcare workers on the frontlines. One of the easiest ways to support and provide comfort was by partnering with restaurants in the Tampa Bay area to deliver thousands of meals to team members working on COVID-19 units. Longtime TGH Foundation supporter and former board member, Catherine L. Straz, was just one of many members of the community who sprung to action by helping to purchase more than 10,000 meal deliveries across several different units that were feeling the stress from the pandemic.
