Japanese-based Suntory Group is the holding company for a large number of subsidiaries around the world that do everything from distill whisky to grow flowers. The company has three operating units: the beverage and food unit; the spirits, wine and beer unit; and the food service and business development unit. Suntory’s beverages are produced through its Suntory Limited division. In Asia, Suntory operates several food and brewing businesses. In North America, Suntory has investments in soda distribution through Pepsi Bottling Ventures and distributes its MIDORI liqueur from a facility in Mexico. Suntory’s business development unit also operates a flower business that grows and develops new varieties of flowers.
