By establishing science-based targets, we ensure that our efforts are aligned with what science tells us is necessary to limit global temperature rise to 1. 5°C. Our commitment to investing in sustainability has never been firmer, and our pipeline of initiatives has never been broader. We continuously work with our suppliers and customers to increase the assortment of eco-labelled products and to promote energy efficiency, life-cycle thinking and circularity. We want to provide our customers with quality products at competitive prices while at the same time ensuring that they have been responsibly sourced and have a low environmental impact. We have initiated a sustainability ambassador training programme to educate sustainability specialist throughout our business units. These ambassadors bring our sustainability strategy to life by helping our customers meet the increasing requirements of sustainable construction and contributing to a higher level of know-how in the organisation.
