Sanmina was among the first companies to comply with the European Union’s (EU’s) Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directives in the mid-2000s. Sanmina facilities also began proactively implementing energy saving projects in 2010. Today, we welcome the opportunity to share our efforts publicly on an ongoing basis, to provide transparency and encourage continuous improvement. We believe that our success is a direct result of our diverse and highly skilled workforce across the globe. We work hard to provide a positive working environment, with a focus on employee development through comprehensive training programs. We have created our own Sanmina University, a professional development program for employees who seek to advance their careers through skills-based training.
