San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is the city’s health system that serves more than 100,000 people in our community clinics, hospitals at home, in jail, in transitional housing or on the streets. SFDPH also provides emergency, trauma, mental health and substance use care to any San Franciscan who needs it. Mission: The Mission of the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is to protect and promote the health of all San Franciscans regardless of immigration status or lack of insurance. SFDPH is comprised of two divisions, the SF Health Network and Population Health. The Health Network is a community of top-rated clinics, hospitals and programs which celebrates the city’s diversity, serving individuals of all backgrounds and identities. We are dedicated to empowering all San Franciscans, without exception, to live the healthiest lives possible.
