Road safety and sustainability go hand-in-hand, and in order to develop our long-term sustainability objectives effectively into our business model, Powell Contracting has developed an ESG Framework which is visible through all levels of our organizations. Our framework allows us to take a multidisciplinary approach towards reaching our sustainability goals. We approach all of our projects with this process, as well as to monitor and report sustainability performance. The ESG Framework applies from the earliest stage of a road safety infrastructure project, all the way through to the end. It centres on a consideration of environmental, social, and governance factors that pertain to our operations. We’re always striving to develop innovative methods for reducing the environmental impact of all of our projects. Along with implementing new governance methods and monitoring our projects’ sustainability, we rely on our Sustainability Committee to help measure, analyze, and ultimately reduce our company’s overall impact.
