Fruits, not movies, are the creative output of this particular group of Pacific Coast Producers. The cooperative uses the apricots, grapes, peaches, pears, and tomatoes of its approximately 165 California-based grower/members to supply the retail and foodservice industries with private-label canned fruit, sauces, and juices. Its customers have included retailers Albertson’s, Aldi, Kroger, Safeway, SUPERVALU, Whole Foods, and Wal-Mart, as well as the US Department of Agriculture. The company operates three production sites and one distribution center in California. Pacific Coast Producers was founded in 1971.

Pacific Coast Producers’ four California locations are all Safe Food Quality (SQF) Certified at a Level III. All other locations are BRC or SGS Certified. We also undergo Ethical and Sustainable Audits throughout the year and have an extensive Quality Assurance Program (QAP). QAP program contains verifications, audits and the evaluation of all factors that affect the specification, production, inspection, and the use of the products or services. We have an ongoing commitment for Sustainable practices on our farms and in our processing plants. Pacific Coast Producers commits itself to the three “Es” of sustainability: effort, efficiency, and effectiveness. Effort: a dedication to cultivate environmental sustainability through project investments. Efficiency: the pursuit to improve energy, water, and waste efficiency. Effectiveness: our interconnected goals to reduce CO2 emissions, save water, and reduce byproduct waste.
