ESG/Ethical Impact

At Orange Business, we strongly believe that every technological advance must be useful to man, society and the planet. We support an ethical, responsible and inclusive vision of digital technology. With our new Lead the Future strategic plan, we are implementing a new business model, driven by environmental, social and governance issues. Our priorities: measuring and reducing the environmental impact of our activities and supporting our customers in their own sustainable digital transformation. Orange Business is committed to contributing to the Group’s main environmental objective: achieving net zero carbon by 2040. Launched in 2019, our Green Act program aims to embed environmental issues as a key priority into our day-to-day processes and business activities and in those of our stakeholders.Nine of our sites are certified to ISO 14001 Since 2010, in order to manage the environmental impact of our activities, we have been deploying an environmental approach at our major sites, which is structured and managed by an Environmental Management System (EMS) certified to ISO 14001. Orange Group is committed to achieving net zero carbon by 2040, including commitments made on emissions for all scopes. We have set ourselves an intermediate target for our scope 3, approved by the SBTi: to reduce our emissions by 14% in 2025 compared to 2018. In 2022, the Group won the Cube competition, organized by the French Institute for Building Performance (Ifpeb), which aims to help building users effectively reduce their energy consumption.
