OGE is already doing a great deal to become more sustainable – and that’s something we’re proud of. We have also planned even more initiatives for the future. With this report, we want to be transparent about our sustainability goals, the measures taken and the results achieved. Our purpose makes clear what OGE stands for: We are actively advancing the energy transition. The “energy mix of the future” is crucial to achieving the climate protection targets in a way that is lasting, certain and affordable while at the same time securing energy supplies for households and industry. Our sustainability strategy is based on the cor- porate strategy. Our infrastructure is designed to operate for many decades. As a network operator pursuing a long-term approach, it therefore was, is and remains important to us that we enable a sus- tainable energy supply. In the three dimensions of ecology, economy and social issues, we are com- mitted to an energy supply with renewable power and green gases.
