Northwood Office is committed to green-friendly development and business practices which helped earn the ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award two years in a row. Northwood continues to evaluate energy management, water conservation, recycling efforts and more to ensure we implement the most effective and environmentally-friendly procedures. Northwood has integrated its portfolio with Measurabl, an all-in-one ESG software that helps organize, track, monitor, and optimize utility usage of buildings. Measurabl allows Northwood to sync electricity, water and waste data at the meter level. Northwood’s Ballantyne property hosts a Bluebird nesting program in partnership with local Davidson University to house 75 bird boxes on its 240 acres of green space. The student programs regularly monitor the boxes and report back their findings.
