Minimising our environmental impact, by reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and conserving and recycling materials. We are striving to a zero to landfill ambition and monitored usage and reduction in single use plastics. We have already partnered with leading external advisors we will be using class leading tools to monitor our impact through carbon emissions and energy usage. Emphasising integrity and respect for human rights and safety through transparent and fair payment and recruitment. Nurturing the communities around us by sourcing their quality local produce, and helping protect their natural environment, prosperity and amenities. Actively promote recycling internally, as well as ensuring all waste contracts focus on recycling and split collections. Encouraging our suppliers to adopt our positive environmental practices. Undertake waste reduction, re-use and recycle. To ensure landfill waste is as low as possible, and by 2023 to eliminate this entirely. To minimise the ‘road miles’ by bulk buying and reducing the amount of deliveries into the hotel. Ensure use and storage of chemicals, raw materials and waste is carried out in such away as to prevent pollution and minimise risk of pollution to air, land and water.
