NJM has a history of working to help improve the communities in which we are privileged to serve. As part of that commitment, we support sustainability efforts that help to reduce our environmental footprint. NJM’s “green” initiatives are on display daily in our Hammonton office. It was built with sustainable building features that contribute to greater energy efficiency, enhanced indoor environmental quality, reduced waste, and minimized impact on the natural surroundings. The facility was even designed to collect rainwater from roof drains for irrigation. In addition, water bottle filling stations at our West Trenton office encourage employees to go green with refillable water bottles, keeping plastic bottles out of landfills. When you’re internationally recognized for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), as we were for the construction of our Hammonton campus, you know you’re making a difference. NJM preserved nearly two acres of wetlands in 2005 near Gold Run Creek, adjacent to our West Trenton office, for the growth of indigenous plants, vegetation, and a wildlife sanctuary. NJM provides daily shuttles to and from the regional rail station for our West Trenton employees. We also offer work-from-home opportunities.
