We’re built from the ground up to be better. As one of the only locally born and raised Colorado solar companies still in business after 18 years, we’ve built a long track record of success while also creating something unique: an employee-owned cooperative that runs its business as a force for good in our communities. What’s the secret to our success? People come to work here out of a desire to align their work and their values. And when you love what you do, why you’re doing it, and the people you work alongside, you do outstanding work. Namaste Solar is in business to transform energy and transform business. As an employee-owned cooperative, a Certified B Corp, and one of the longest-running solar companies in Colorado, we believe that business can be a force for good in our economies and our communities. Namaste Solar works to engage in meaningful ways with our communities, to reduce our environmental footprint, and to build a more equitable cooperative and society. We engage in co-creating our success as an employee-owned cooperative through a commitment to accountability and collaborative practices.

We work to propagate the responsible use of solar energy, pioneer conscientious business practices, and create holistic wealth for ourselves and our community. Business can be a powerful engine for change in our communities, and that’s what we’re trying to do here at Namaste Solar. Not only do we transform the power of the sun into electricity, we’re also transforming the way businesses operate. We’re pioneering conscientious business practices, such as employee ownership and holistic stakeholder wealth, that result in a higher quality of life for employees, a superior quality experience for customers, and a positive impact on our wider stakeholder communities. Namaste Solar joined 500+ B Corporations in committing to net zero by 2030 Our Denver office building is solar powered and certified LEED Silver. Our bathroom and kitchen appliances are low-flow where possible. Our office kitchens have disposal stations with labeled bins for compost, plastic bags, single-stream recycling, and landfill. Our warehouses have additional bins for scrap metal, shrink-wrap, and other recyclables. We have a hard-to-recycle materials station in our Boulder warehouse for items such as batteries, CFL lightbulbs, bike tires, clothing, plastic bubble wrap, those little plastic strips that go around large bulky packages, electronics, and hard Styrofoam, thanks to our partners at Eco-Cycle.
