Recognizing the unique nature of the independent producer, its founders formed this broker/dealer in 1983 as Procorp Securities Inc., a full service NASD member firm chartered in the state of New York . During the decade that followed, Procorp expanded its product array to what is presently among the most extensive in the industry. At the same time, it endeavored to create a supervisory system that challenges the old idea that the compliance department should really be called “the sales prevention department.”” In June of 1994
