LaunchDarkly

1999 Harrison St Ste 1100, Oakland, CA 94612

LaunchDarkly isn’t just a leader in feature management — it’s the first scalable feature management platform. Feature management allows development teams to innovate faster by fundamentally transforming how software is delivered to customers. With the ability to gradually release new software features to any segment of users on any platform, DevOps teams can standardize safe releases at scale, accelerate their journey to the cloud and collaborate more effectively with business teams. Today, LaunchDarkly deploys peaks of 20 trillion feature flags a day, and that number continues to grow. Founded in 2014 in Oakland, California by Edith Harbaugh and John Kodumal, LaunchDarkly has been named on the Forbes Cloud 100 list, InfoWorld’s 2021 Technology of the Year list, and the Enterprise Tech 30 list.

ESG/Ethical Impact

At LaunchDarkly, our mission is to empower all teams to deliver and control their software. We envision a world in which feature releases are safe, boring, and unceremonious—where developers relax after releases instead of anxiously waiting for something to go wrong. LaunchDarkly aims to be a force for good in our communities and across the world. We created the LaunchDarkly Foundation in 2019 to act as a vehicle for our local and global impact. We contribute money and work hours to organizations making real changes. We participate in the Pledge 1% initiative to give financial support and employee time to organizations that improve the health of our community and our planet. Deploying LaunchDarkly’s resources to benefit our community and our planet. Education is a pathway to opportunity. We’re investing in nonprofits that work to dismantle the systemic barriers holding people back from accessing the resources that lead to career opportunities and wealth building, especially in the technology sector. Even though adequate housing is a fundamental human right, there are still hundreds of thousands of Americans that are either unhoused or are on the verge of becoming unhoused. We’re investing in nonprofits that give resources to people experiencing houselessness or housing instability. We all depend on the earth for our survival. Environmental degradation disproportionately impacts communities of color, low-income community members, and people who are unhoused, so we are investing in organizations that are working towards regenerative environmental solutions.
