L.A. Turbine, now a Chart Industries Company, delivers innovative and highly reliable turboexpander design, manufacturing and testing–from concept to commissioning—of application-specific, highly engineered turboexpanders used in hydrocarbon processing, geothermal power generation and other industrial power recovery and refrigeration applications. We also bring 18+ years of aftermarket service, repair, redesign, maintenance and spare part production for all OEM and non-OEM turboexpanders. Our field service team provides global diagnostic, maintenance and emergency support 24/7/365. Free troubleshooting, technical consultation and turboexpander evaluations are available. Our turboexpander configurations include expander-compressor, expander-generator, expander-dyno (brake) units and expander-compressors with active magnetic bearings in the 3kW to 14MW range, capable of handling up to 3000 PSIG pressure, and temperatures between -195oC and 260oC. Frame sizes range from L1000 to L6000. L.A. Turbine (LAT) controls the entire design and manufacturing process thus we ensure materials availability, guarantee quality control and deliver faster-to-market customized solutions. All engineering design and development processes are ISO 9001:2008 compliant. Global headquarters and manufacturing are in Valencia, California with sales and service centers in California and Europe. LAT’s partner and service network provide customer sales, distribution and aftermarket support across five continents.
