Klein Tools was founded in 1857 by Mathias Klein. The company is still family owned and operated by Mathias Klein’s descendants to the sixth generation. Since its founding, Klein Tools has been an innovation leader in the hand tool industry. In the past decade we have accelerated our innovation trajectory, with the launch of game changing new product lines including electrical testers and meters; datacom tools, connectors and testers; Tradesman Pro tool handling solutions; and illumination products. We reject the conventional wisdom that hand tools are “commodities” and continue to invest aggressively in maintaining world class quality and the development of innovative new products. Whether we’re optimizing an existing product, developing another new product line from scratch, or commercializing our products in a new market or country, we never lose sight of our commitment to our customers that Klein stands for quality.
