Jackson Health System, an integrated healthcare delivery system, consists of its centerpiece, Jackson Memorial Hospital; multiple primary care and specialty care centers; a variety of school-based clinics serving many elementary, middle and high schools; two long-term care nursing facilities; six Corrections Health Services clinics; a network of mental health facilities; Holtz Children’s Hospital, Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital, Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital, Jackson North Medical Center and Jackson South Medical Center. JHS is also home to the Ryder Trauma Center, Miami-Dade County’s only Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center; and the UM/JM Burn Center, one of the leading burn treatment centers in the nation and the only one in South Florida. Working in affiliation with the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and others, Jackson provides a wide range of patient services, educational programs, a clinical setting for research activities and a number of health-related community services.

Reflecting on the last year, the Jackson team demonstrated the resiliency of our business and remained focused on our purpose to help Americans achieve financial freedom for life. Jackson associates have built a culture centered on our core values of Empower, Execute, Respect, and Create. It is through their commitment that we are able to further our reputation as a leading U.S. retirement services provider and make such a meaningful impact, including in the communities where we live and work. In our first full year as an independent, public company, we had a goal to demonstrate Jackson’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts and their efficacy with our stakeholders. This was accomplished in numerous ways, including through publishing Jackson’s first annual ESG Report, with full Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) disclosures, in May 2022. While ESG has been a focus at Jackson for many years, the report allowed us to more clearly articulate how this priority is embedded within our daily business activities.
