Each of us started washing dishes in the family restaurant, Austin’s Drive Inn of Evansville, Indiana, while in grade school. We then graduated to fountain boy, waiter and on into management. When our father died at the young age of 46, we took over the management to support our family. The oldest of us was 21. We worked seven-day weeks and long hours. We made mistakes, but we learned the value of hard work and the principles of how to build a successful business. Since 1962, we have been in the retail and wholesale pizza business. Together we have over 140 years of food business experience. Hunt BrothersAr Pizza was developed in 1990. Our purpose was and still is to offer a complete pizza concept for the neighborhood convenience store.
