A Connection to the Land in Every Bottle. We offer more than 160 single herbs and more than 85 proprietary formulas to help take care of mind, body and spirit. Our herbs are grown on our own organic farms and ethically sourced from all corners of the world. Tucked into the Siskiyou Mountains of southern Oregon, we grow more than 75 herbs on 255 acres at our three Certified Organic farms, just down the road from our extraction facility. This allows us to harvest, transport, and start the extraction process in as little as an hour, ensuring that the herbs we use are as fresh and effective as possible. Many of our herbs are grown from seeds we carefully select and save for future planting. In 2020, we grew more than 65% of our crops from our own seed bank. Not every herb can be grown on our farm. Kava, for example, thrives in the tropical islands of the South Pacific. And Maca grows best at high altitudes in the Peruvian Andes Mountains. When we can’t grow an herb ourselves, we turn to responsible wild crafters and independent farmers around the globe.

We believe if we do everything in our power to take care of plants, plants will continue to take care of us. We’re long time members and supporters of United Plant Savers (UpS), an organization dedicated to protecting native medicinal plants of the United States and Canada, and their native habitat, while ensuring an abundant renewable supply of medicinal plants for generations to come. Over the years Herb Pharm has made significant contributions in support of United Plant Savers’ work, including its Partners in Education program and Planting the Future conferences. Herb Pharm’s organic farm is a United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary, an honor for our co-founder and past UpS board member and president, Sara Katz. We’ve worked diligently to restore the fertility of our farms and nurture native species, improve habitats and extend riparian areas. We’ve long grown a variety of “At-Risk” species for conservation and educational purposes and are happy to share they are thriving – from Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) and Black Cohosh (Actaea racemosa) to Cascara Sagrada (Frangula purshiana) and Slippery Elm (Ulmus fulva). We’ve been a Certified B Corp since 2018. This independent assessment is a distinction that really matters to us. B Corp certification assesses our environmental, social and community impact. It’s a great way to uphold our purpose: Taking care of plants, so they can take care of people.
