We do our work with great gratitude for the community donations, purchases, and partnerships that make our mission possible. As we work alongside the people we serve, we know that we also walk alongside each of you— the members of our community who have been with us from the beginning. It was a small group of community members who donated the first set of clothes to our Goodwill more than 100 years ago and it is a much larger group of community members who now play an enormous role in our ability to serve the people of our region. Community donations, purchases, and partnerships are what make our mission possible. We acknowledge that Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region, which spans 15 counties in the state of Washington, operates and serves on the traditional and ancestral lands of many American Indian Tribes. Centuries of systemic oppression have dispossessed indigenous people of their lands and their rights to self-determination.
