Golden Agri-Resources is one of the largest palm oil players in the world. With 406,000-plus hectares of planted land in Indonesia, the company operates about 33 oil processing mills and several refineries and kernel crushing plants. Its operations include harvesting oil palm trees, processing fresh fruit into crude palm oil and palm kernel oil, and refining it into such consumer products as cooking oil, margarine, and shortening. It produces two of the leading cooking oil brands in Indonesia: Filma and Kunci Mas. Additional operations in China focus on soybean oil and soybean meal production. Branded cooking products there include Grand Slam and Golden Carrier. It acquired noodle maker Florentina in 2010.
