As one of the largest private employers in both Maryland and Washington DC, Giant Food employs approximately 20,000 full and part time associates. The company is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and has been recognized by the EPA for superior energy management of its stores and is also a member of the EPA’s Smart Way program.
