Our Convictions and Values describe Faurecia’s commitment for sustainability. Climate change affects every single person and community on our planet, and we all have a role to play in limiting its progression. In 2019 we engaged in a company-wide CO2 neutrality plan. Since the creation of FORVIA, both Faurecia and HELLA have established a common net zero target: By 2025 we want to be CO2 neutral across all operations (scopes 1 & 2, meaning greenhouse gas emissions from industrial facilities: natural gas combustion, purchase of electricity and heat By 2030 we will reduce all scope 3 emissions by 45% (upstream and downstream activities: purchases, lease, freight, travel, waste, recycling…) We will achieve Net Zero by 2045 In June 2022, we became the first automotive company to be certified with the SBTi Net Zero standard, aligned with the ambitions of the 2015 Paris Agreement of limiting global warming to 1.5°. Three principles guide our action: use less, use better and use longer, with a focus on recyclability and circular economy.
