We serve all Tennesseans. Farm Bureau Insurance began selling property and casualty policies in Tennessee in 1948. Farming was a more dangerous occupation than it is now, and many insurance companies were unwilling to insure farm structures. So the farmers of Tennessee, working through the Tennessee Farm Bureau, launched their own insurance company. It wasn’t long before their friends and neighbors wanted to take advantage of Farm Bureau’s insurance program. We insure more homes and automobiles than any other insurer in Tennessee. Farm Bureau Insurance’s life company was launched in 1973. It is one of the largest writers of individual life insurance in the state of Tennessee. We have offices in more Tennessee communities than any other insurance company. There is at least one in every county.
