At ExamWorks, we use our creativity, compassion and smarts to help young people and their families in the communities where we work and live, and internationally. Our mission is to inspire and encourage children, adolescents, and families affected by unfortunate health events or traumatic dislocations. We support therapeutic and educational philanthropic initiatives that change the course of people’s lives, intervening as early as possible. Our corporate social responsibility initiatives are diverse and reflect the needs of the communities in the countries where we do business. The Aspire programs help children, teens, and adults with high cognitive autism spectrum disorder or a related social profile make social connections and develop independence. We support Massachusetts General Hospitals’ Aspire Program whose participants learn the skills they need to achieve their full potential at home, school, work, and in their communities. Wide Horizons For Children (WHFC) is dedicated to the well-being and security of vulnerable and orphaned children worldwide in more than 60 countries. WHFC, founded 40 years ago to help children in the aftermath of the Vietnam war, is one of only a handful of organizations focusing on solutions that address how the lack of a stable or permanent family affects a child’s development and prospects for a fulfilling future. We support Wide Horizons For Children’s nuanced approach which touches souls far beyond our reach. Kids’ Chance envisions a time when all children affected by a parent’s work related injury or death can pursue their educational dreams without financial burden. Through our partnership with Kids’ Chance which serves all 50 states, we faciltate collegiate scholarships to children of injured workers.
