The dot-com deathwatch didn’t stop Devcon Construction — it’s still riding the coattails of Silicon Valley’s business boom. One of the area’s top general building contractors, Devcon has constructed more than 35 million sq. ft. of office, industrial, and commercial space mainly in the San Francisco Bay area and Silicon Valley. Founded in 1976, Devcon specializes in high-tech projects, including industrial research and development facilities. Devcon also provides engineering, design/build, and interior design services. In addition to building company facilities and offices, Devcon works on such projects as hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and schools.
