Originally founded in 1988, primarily to provide private psychiatric services, Cygnet Health Care now delivers an increasingly wide range of services for a number of NHS commissioning bodies. We currently hold contracts with NHS England and 65 other NHS entities across the UK and Wales. Cygnet Health Care employs a wide range of staff to create multidisciplinary teams at each site. These teams vary in their make-up depending on the service provided, but on most sites we have roles for RMNs, consultant psychiatrists, junior doctors, support workers, psychologists, therapists, social workers as well as many roles for staff providing the vital hotel and administrative services that support the excellent clinical work at each hospital.
