Our roots go back to 1886 when St. Cloud Hospital was built to serve the health care needs of people living in Central Minnesota. In 1995, CentraCare was formed, which today includes nine hospitals in St. Cloud, Benson, Long Prairie, Melrose, Monticello, Paynesville, Redwood Falls, Sauk Centre and Willmar. We also have more than 30 clinics, 10 senior housing facilities and seven long-term care facilities throughout the area. CentraCare has grown to meet the needs of the communities and is now one of the largest health systems in Minnesota. This means we’re able to offer the latest advancements in care, technology and treatments close to home. But what makes CentraCare special is not our facilities or technology. It’s our people. We live in the communities we serve. We’re neighbors, friends and family.

CentraCare Foundation is grateful for the continued community support. This year’s Community Campaign will help CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health at Clara’s House to expand to meet the mental health needs of children ages 2-5 and the emergent health care needs in our regional communities, too. We are grateful to Magnifi Financial who is proud to support CentraCare Foundation and will match up to $25,000 of gifts received by Dec. 31, 2023. This matching gift will benefit the greatest health care needs in Long Prairie, Melrose and Sauk Centre!
