Every year our offices close for a day so that our employees can join together in teams for the community service event known as BPM Day. Projects encompass a broad selection of philanthropic activity from restoring local wildlife habitat, to building sets for a community theater, to painting and cleaning a homeless shelter. Over time, the firm has contributed more than 100,000 hours of volunteer labor to over 75 nonprofits through BPM Days. Free education programs for nonprofits and Community Liaisons in each office that monitor the needs of their surrounding communities are just a few examples of the ongoing service ethic that is part of daily life at BPM. The firm’s partners and managers currently serve on more than 80 boards of nonprofit, business and community organizations. BPM partners are active leaders in professional organizations including the California Society of CPAs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.
