BHSH System Sustainability Goals BY 2025: Convert 70% of fleet vehicles to hybrid or electric power. Compost or reprocess 40% of waste. Purchase 25% of food products from local, diverse and sustainable sources. Reduce energy use by 15%. Double our spending at businesses owned by women and people of color BY 2040: All BHSH System facilities carbon neutral. PEOPLE Our goal is to put people first by investing in equity and celebrating the health and well-being of our patients, visitors, team members, physicians, health plan members and communities. PLANET We recognize the interconnectedness of human and environmental health. Our goal is to protect the natural environment by greening our operations and investing in the health of our local and global communities.
