The property will reopen for business August 29, 2006 following a dramatic renovation. We naturally undertook a CSR approach – Corporate Social Responsibility – focused on two main goals: Goal one, we started to optimise waste and energy management, with recycled paper, solar power, drip watering, recyclable packaging, stopping food waste with doggy bags, selective recycling, and plastic reduction. Goal two, we have paid particular attention on societal needs – access for reduced mobility people; food products traceability; preference for purchasing local (up to 60 %) and seasonal produce, preferably explicitly labelled organic or local (as much as possible); and partnerships with local associations.
