Bar Louie opened its first location in the trendy River North neighborhood of Chicago in 1990. The spot quickly became a Chicago favorite with its oversized sandwiches and specialty martinis. In 2001, we decided it was time to share our neighborhood bar with other cities and grew quickly across the Nation – and we aren’t finished! Bar Louie is arguably now the largest GastroBar in the Nation with over 140 locations operating in 26 States coast to coast. What is a GastroBar you may ask? A GastroBar is a fancy way of describing a bar where really great food meets handcrafted drinks.
