With the world reopened, our teams crossed oceans and borders to serve new and existing customers with one of the largest footprints in our space, spanning 60+ countries and covering more than 90 percent of world GDP. As we added staff to support our growth, we continued to build a “Band” that reflects the infinite variety of people we serve around the globe. We are committed to hiring the best people with the widest range of backgrounds, experiences, nationalities, cultures, races, identities, ages, and abilities. Our inclusive, mission-first culture and “Whole Person Promise” encouraged Bandmates to stay highly engaged, healthy, and balanced, with programs throughout the year to strengthen minds, bodies, and spirits. As one global company, we reshaped celebrated traditions like Spirit Week, Wellness Programs, and Whole Person Challenges to ensure they are meaningful to our new Bandmates around the globe. I’ve been excited to see our culture evolve as it is embraced and adopted across new time zones, broadening the horizons of all Bandmates. In our local communities, we put down deeper roots through the individual activism we encourage for Bandmates in each of our locations. From Raleigh to Romania, our “Go Do!” and “Bandwidth Cares” volunteer programs empowered team members to take paid time off to drive meaningful change for the causes closest to their hearts in their neighborhoods. One of our proudest moments of the year was sponsoring “accessABILITY Day” at the North Carolina State Fair, where our volunteers helped people with disabilities have an opportunity to enjoy the best of what the Fair had to offer in a way that was accessible to them. It was the perfect embodiment of our mission to develop and deliver the power to communicate. As a result of these initiatives and many more, we were honored once again to be named one of the Best Places to Work in our Raleigh, NC, home region—for the second year in a row. The award demonstrates how intertwined Bandwidth’s corporate goals are with our ongoing commitment to achieving our social and community goals.
