AECC’s primary impact is bringing reliable electricity to rural communities in Arkansas. By extending electric service to underserved areas, the organization supports economic development, social well-being, and improved living standards. AECC can promote environmental sustainability by encouraging the integration of clean energy sources into its generation mix. By incorporating renewable energy, adopting energy-efficient technologies, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, AECC contributes to a more sustainable and low-carbon energy system, aligning with broader environmental goals and addressing climate change.
