Appian Corporation is committed to managing environmental impact as an integral part of our operations. It is our policy to assure the environmental integrity of our processes and facilities at all times, and we comply with all regulations to ensure a safe working environment for our personnel in each country and city in which we operate. A committee within our board of directors, chaired by a company co-founder and our Chief Financial Officer, focuses on and directs corporate efforts and activities surrounding carbon reduction and environmental sustainability. Appian has taken action, and continues to do so, to reduce our energy consumption and waste and, thus, contribute to climate preservation. We are currently tracking Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for our United States headquarters operation and will be extending this to all office locations over time. With respect to Scope 3 carbon emissions, we are working with the infrastructure hosting service provider for our Appian Cloud offering, Amazon Web Services (AWS), to be able to offer green-centered choices to our customers around cloud deployment.
