We previously set a 50% water-recycling target for our manufacturing facilities, but that’s really a lever that we can use to reduce overall water withdrawn. It was important for us to set this additional target to spotlight the water intensity of our processes. The company is actively working with internal experts to understand the opportunities available to increase recycling, optimize water usage and ultimately reduce overall consumption. This includes implementing our technology in our manufacturing facilities, which will allow us to measure with improved accuracy and timeliness to implement better controls.
